OUR STORY

It started witha seating plan.

Classroom seating plan showing where Eugine and Ray sat, step by step. BOARD1234567812345FORM 5 CLASSROOM · SMK SERIAN · 2006 E R 12 · 05 · 06 together
Serian, 2006

Form 5. We kept talking in class, to our best friends.

The same desk

So the teacher sat us together in the last row. We barely spoke.

Moved apart

Then we were moved apart, and missed it. On 3 April 2006, Ray wrote a letter.

Pen pals

We wrote back and forth. For weeks, the letters became the thing we looked forward to most.

12 May 2006

We became a couple.
